Newborn’s First Spiritual Bath Ritual: The Blessing of the Black Madonna
The Black Madonna refers to sacred representations of the Virgin Mary and the infant Jesus depicted with dark brown or black skin. Found throughout Europe, Latin America, Africa, and other parts of the Catholic and Orthodox world, Black Madonna images have been venerated for centuries. Some of the most renowned examples date from the medieval period, while others reflect intentional depictions of Mary and Jesus with darker complexions, regional artistic traditions, or the Middle Eastern origins traditionally associated with the Holy Family.
Beyond the historical explanations for their appearance, the Black Madonna has developed a profound spiritual symbolism in folk and devotional traditions. Her darkness is often associated with the fertile earth, the primordial womb, creation, mystery, healing, and the unseen forces from which life emerges. She can represent the sacred mother who holds, nourishes, protects, and gives life.
The Black Madonna is also associated in various folk traditions with healing, fertility, protection, liberation, and the breaking of chains. Throughout history, communities have traveled to Black Madonna shrines seeking assistance with physical healing, fertility, safe journeys, protection, and difficult circumstances. Her image has also become part of diverse spiritual traditions in which the maternal presence of Mary is connected with ancient mother symbolism and local understandings of the divine feminine.
In my spiritual practice, I offer the Newborn’s First Spiritual Bath Ritual as a sacred welcoming ceremony for a child’s entry into the spiritual world. This ritual is performed during a newborn’s earliest days of life and is centered around the protective and maternal energy of the Black Madonna.
A baby’s first spiritual bath is approached as more than ordinary cleansing. It is a ceremonial moment of welcome, blessing, purification, protection, and spiritual grounding. Through the ritual bath, prayer, sacred intention, and devotional work with the Black Madonna, I create a spiritual environment intended to surround the newborn with maternal protection and peaceful energy as they begin their journey through life.
The Black Madonna’s connection to the earth and primordial womb of creation is particularly meaningful in this ceremony. Just as the earth holds and nourishes new life, this ritual honors the newborn as a newly arrived soul deserving of care, protection, tenderness, and sacred blessing. Her symbolism as a mother, healer, and breaker of chains gives the ceremony an additional intention of creating a foundation of strength and protection around the child.
The ritual may also serve as a meaningful family ceremony, giving parents and loved ones an opportunity to intentionally welcome the newborn, speak blessings over their life, and establish a sacred beginning. The ceremony honors the transition into motherhood and parenthood while recognizing the profound spiritual significance of bringing new life into the world.

Mother Mary Health and Protection Ritual
Virgin Mary Health & Protection Ritual: Cleansing, Deliverance & Maternal Protection
The Virgin Mary holds a central place in Christian tradition as the mother of Jesus Christ and one of the most revered figures in Catholic devotion. Catholic theology recognizes Mary as the Mother of God (Theotokos), perpetually virgin, immaculately conceived, and assumed body and soul into heaven. She is not regarded by the Catholic Church as a goddess or divine being; rather, she receives a special form of veneration known as hyperdulia, while worship belongs to God alone.
Throughout centuries of devotion, Mary has also come to be understood by believers as a compassionate mother, advocate, protector, and Queen of Heaven—a maternal presence to whom people turn during periods of suffering, fear, illness, hardship, and uncertainty. Her many titles, including Our Lady of Guadalupe, Stella Maris, and Our Lady Undoer of Knots, reflect the many ways communities have experienced and honored her maternal and intercessory presence.
In folk Catholicism and popular devotional traditions, Mary has also been approached through direct petition, prayer, devotional ritual, novenas, candles, medals, sacred images, and protective practices. Across different cultures, Marian imagery has been incorporated into healing and protection traditions, with the Virgin Mary invoked for assistance during difficult circumstances, childbirth, spiritual distress, and times when protection and divine intervention are sought.
In my spiritual practice, I work with the Virgin Mary as a maternal spiritual force of cleansing, protection, compassion, and deliverance from affliction. This work is intended for individuals who feel burdened by persistent spiritual heaviness, unwanted influences, recurring disturbances, or circumstances in which they are seeking cleansing and a renewed sense of spiritual protection.
The Virgin Mary Health & Protection Ritual focuses on cleansing away what is believed to be spiritually burdensome while establishing an atmosphere of maternal protection and peace. Through prayer, petition, devotional work, sacred imagery, candles, and ritual practices, I call upon Mary’s compassionate maternal presence to support the client’s intention for cleansing, protection, restoration, and deliverance.

Hekate Grand Rite
Hekate Grand Rite: The Power of Witchcraft & Sacred Transformation
In ancient Greek tradition, Hekate is the goddess associated with magic, witchcraft, the night, the moon, ghosts, necromancy, crossroads, and the mysteries of the unseen world. She was the daughter of the Titans Perses and Asteria and was believed to possess power extending across heaven, earth, and sea. Hekate is a liminal deity—a guardian and guide who moves between worlds, thresholds, and states of transformation. She is often depicted carrying twin torches, illuminating the darkness and revealing pathways that may otherwise remain hidden.
Hekate played an important role in the myth of Demeter and Persephone, assisting Demeter in her search for her missing daughter and guiding her through the night with her flaming torches. Following Persephone’s return to the Underworld, Hekate became her minister and companion in Hades, further establishing her connection with the mysteries of death, rebirth, transition, and the realms beyond the ordinary world.
Hekate is also strongly associated with crossroads and spiritual transformation. Her triple form reflects her relationship with thresholds and the ability to see in multiple directions—what has been, what is, and what lies ahead. Her sacred animals include the black dog and polecat, both of which appear within ancient myths surrounding her. Her name is traditionally connected with the Greek word hekatos, meaning “worker from afar,” reflecting the far-reaching nature of her power.
In my spiritual practice, I offer the Hekate Grand Rite specifically for women who are interested in deepening their relationship with witchcraft and developing their spiritual practice. This rite is an opportunity to approach Hekate not simply as a figure of mythology, but as a powerful spiritual presence through which the practitioner can cultivate deeper connection, devotion, discipline, and understanding.
The Grand Rite is designed to strengthen an existing witchcraft practice, deepen spiritual connection with Hekate, and create a sacred foundation for continued magical development. Through ritual, invocation, offerings, devotional practices, and intentional spiritual work, participants are invited to enter into a more meaningful relationship with Hekate and the mysteries associated with her.
This rite may be especially meaningful for women who feel drawn toward witchcraft, lunar spirituality, divination, crossroads work, ancestral or spirit work, magical development, and deeper exploration of the unseen realms. It is not simply about learning individual spells or techniques; it is about developing a relationship with a deity whose mythology is deeply connected to magic, transition, protection, mystery, and the illumination of hidden paths.

Ares Domination Ritual
Ares: The Power of Domination & Command
In Greek tradition, Ares is the god of war—the embodiment of battle, confrontation, aggression, courage, force, and the raw power of conflict. Unlike the more socially ordered and civic aspects associated with other war deities, Ares represents the untamed force of battle itself: the will to advance, overcome resistance, stand one’s ground, and prevail. He is accompanied in myth by forces such as Eris (Strife), Phobos (Panic), and Deimos (Rout), reflecting the psychological power and intensity that surround conflict and confrontation.
In my spiritual practice, I work with Ares as an archetype and spiritual force of domination, authority, command, and influence. His current is particularly suited to situations where you need to establish yourself as the stronger presence, overcome opposition, assert your authority, or shift the dynamics of power in your favor.
Ares domination workings may be directed toward relationships, workplace dynamics, business affairs, interpersonal conflicts, reputation, influence, and situations in which another person’s perception or response toward you has become an obstacle. The intention of this work is to strengthen your position and cultivate an atmosphere in which your presence carries greater weight, authority, and influence.
This work can be used for domination over circumstances, interpersonal dynamics, business negotiations, professional environments, relationships, and public perception. Rather than approaching domination as simple aggression, I work with the force of Ares to invoke qualities of decisiveness, command, confidence, strategic confrontation, and the ability to stand firmly in your power.
Working with Ares requires a willingness to confront resistance rather than avoid it. His energy is direct, forceful, uncompromising, and intensely focused on victory. Intranquil Spirits
Understanding the Intranquil Spirit
The Intranquil Spirit—sometimes referred to as Espíritu Intranquilo—is a figure found within folk-magic and Hispanic esoteric traditions. The term describes a restless or wandering spirit associated in traditional lore with unresolved earthly attachments, longing, obsession, and an inability to find peace.
The Lore of the Restless Dead
Traditional accounts describe the Intranquil Spirit as a soul caught between states of existence—unable to find rest because of powerful earthly attachments, unresolved desires, or romantic transgressions.
Within the spiritual traditions in which this work appears, the spirit’s own restlessness and longing are understood as forces that can be directed through ritual toward a particular intention. This is one reason the Intranquil Spirit has historically been associated with matters of love, separation, reconciliation, regret, longing, and obsession.
Ritual & Spiritual Practice
Traditional Intranquil Spirit work may involve dedicated ritual candles, spiritual oils, petitions, and traditional prayers. The work is often performed over a designated period of time, with practitioners maintaining focused intention throughout the ritual.
At the Sacred Temple of Creation, I work with Intranquil Spirits as part of much of my spiritual practice. It is important to understand that Intranquil Spirit work is not traditionally viewed as light or casual spiritual work. Within folk-magic traditions, it is often characterized as heavy, intense, and volatile, particularly because its symbolism centers around restlessness, fixation, longing, and compulsion rather than peaceful affection.

La Santa Muerte
La Santa Muerte, cuyo nombre significa, es una santa popular y figura espiritual venerada principalmente en México y en algunas zonas de Estados Unidos y Latinoamérica. A menudo se la representa como una figura femenina esquelética vestida con túnicas y portando símbolos como una guadaña o un globo terráqueo. Se la relaciona con la protección, la sanación, el amor, la prosperidad, la justicia y la orientación durante momentos de transición y dificultad. Sus devotos pueden acudir a ella como una poderosa intercesora espiritual que acepta a las personas independientemente de sus circunstancias, y tradicionalmente se considera que las velas y ofrendas de distintos colores representan diferentes intenciones. La devoción a la Santa Muerte se desarrolla en gran medida fuera de la Iglesia católica oficial y tiene sus raíces en una combinación de tradiciones populares mexicanas, influencias indígenas y católicas, y prácticas devocionales contemporáneas.
