I’m Osunyamiloju Ifakemi
I’m a birth worker, artist, collector and curator of divine feminine wisdom, community
organizer, mentor, and proud cat mom. This space began as a personal journey of
questioning, study, and remembrance. Like many black women, I grew up surrounded by systems and narratives that shaped how I understood womanhood, motherhood, spirituality, and relationships. Over time, I began to recognize how fragmented and misleading many of those narratives were—how often women were encouraged to disconnect from their intuition, creativity, and from one another. That questioning led me into deeper study of ancient matriarchal societies, traditions of goddess reverence, and the ways women historically gathered in community to share knowledge and sustain life together. My work in birth spaces deepened this understanding, revealing that birth is not simply a medical event, but a profound expression of creative and spiritual power.
A Red Circle Corporation was born from a desire to create sacred spaces where Black
women can remember, reconnect, heal, and return to themselves. It is both a spiritual and community-centered ecosystem rooted in feminine wisdom, ancestral remembrance, creativity, birth work, and holistic healing traditions. Through every offering, this work seeks to honor African American women as creators, nurturers, healers, visionaries, and spiritual leaders. What began as personal study and spiritual exploration has grown into a living circle of education, ritual, mentorship, healing, and community care.
Beyond community offerings, I also provide private spiritual and healing services through my personal practice as Osunyamiloju Ifakemi. These offerings include spiritually prepared herbal baths, womb healing sessions, rites of passage ceremonies, meditation and breath work practices, mentorship, psychic readings, and nature-based healing experiences centered around plant wisdom, foraging, and reconnection to the earth.
My life’s work is about helping african american women remember something sacred. Across many ancient societies, women—particularly Black women—were revered as priestesses, healers, diviners, mothers, wisdom keepers, and spiritual leaders. They were seen as deeply connected to creation, intuition, the cycles of life, and divine knowledge. Over time, many of these histories and traditions were buried beneath systems that disconnected black women from their power, spirituality, and communal roles.
This space exists as an invitation:
to remember,
to heal,
to study,
to gather,
to reclaim,
and to return home to the wisdom our ancestors carried.
May every offering here nourish the spirit, honor the body, and awaken remembrance within
the women who enter this circle.
Yours truly,
Osunyamiloju Ifakemi
A Red Circle Corporation
A Red Circle Corporation was born from the belief that healing for Black women must happen both individually and collectively. Our work centers the understanding that when a woman truly knows herself, she creates the foundation for transformation within herself, her family, community, and future generations.
My experience working within birth spaces revealed that birth is not simply a medical event, but a profound expression of creative and spiritual power. Through supporting women during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, it became clear that Black women deserve spaces where they are deeply supported, honored, educated, and held in community.
A Red Circle Corporation was created to be that space.
We are a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that brings people together from all backgrounds and professions to support African American women from pregnancy through postpartum using a community-centered model of care. Through donations and community support, we provide birth-work, resources, education, mentorship, and healing-centered offerings designed to strengthen the individuals providing service, the families we support, and the collective community. Contributions to our organization are tax-deductible and directly support women and families in need.
Our work focuses on deconstructing the harmful narratives that have disconnected African American women from themselves, their bodies, their histories, and one another. Together, we explore ancient matriarchal societies, ancient traditions of goddess reverence, and the ways women historically gathered to preserve knowledge, sustain life, and care for their communities.

Prepare for Birth Long Before Labor Begins
Conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are not separate
events—they are chapters of the same story.
Your emotional health influences your physical health.
Your beliefs shape your birth.
Your relationships affect your nervous system.
Your nervous system affects your hormones, milk production,
healing, and the way you experience motherhood.
Most women only begin receiving support once pregnant.
Our work together begins months—even years—before that.
By combining holistic birth support with spiritual care, ritual,
education, naturopathy, emotional healing, and evidence-informed
doula care, I help women prepare not only for birth, but for the
transformation into motherhood.
Whether you are trying to conceive, currently pregnant, healing
after birth, or simply reconnecting with yourself as a woman, this
membership provides an ongoing community of support instead of
one-time appointments.
Because healing work isn't done in a single session.
Birth preparation isn't one childbirth class.
And becoming a mother deserves more than six weeks of care.
Thats why I created a private membership where members receive
continuous mental, physical and spiritual guidance, birth work, and
community.

“My womb wellness consultation gave me a completely different perspective on how I care for myself and listen to my body.
