About me

Osunyamiloju Ifakemi is an initiated High Priestess, an Integrative and Sacred Womb Wellness Practitioner, educator, artist, community organizer, mentor, and collector and curator of Divine Feminine wisdom. She is also a proud cat mom and the visionary behind Osunyamiloju Sacred Temple of Creation, a sacred wellness destination dedicated to women’s holistic wellness, sacred womb wellness, spiritual development, ancestral connection, feminine empowerment, and intentional living.

Her work is grounded in a lifelong commitment to education, study, remembrance, and the restoration of women’s relationship with their bodies, intuition, creativity, spirituality, and ancestral wisdom.

Osunyamiloju’s formal educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College, with a minor in Business Management and Organization, completed in 2012. Her academic background in psychology, combined with her studies in organizational leadership and her extensive professional education in birth, postpartum care, lactation, newborn development, and childbirth education, provides an important foundation for the way she approaches women’s wellness, birth work, family support, mentorship, and community care.

Her professional education continued through specialized training as a Newborn Care Specialist, Full-Spectrum Birth & Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Newborn Sleep Specialist, Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, and Advanced Lactation Counselor. She has also completed training in newborn and infant care, maternal-infant assessment for breastfeeding and human lactation, and childbirth education.

This multidisciplinary educational path is central to her philosophy: women deserve care that recognizes the whole person—the body, mind, spirit, family, lineage, environment, and lived experience.

A Journey of Study and Remembrance

Osunyamiloju’s work began as a personal journey of questioning, study, and remembrance.

Like many Black women, she grew up surrounded by systems and narratives that shaped how she understood womanhood, motherhood, spirituality, relationships, and her own place within the world. Over time, she began questioning the fragmentation and limitations within many of those narratives and examining how women have been encouraged to disconnect from their intuition, creativity, bodies, spirituality, and from one another.

That questioning became a deeper educational and spiritual journey into ancient matriarchal societies, Goddess reverence, feminine-centered traditions, birth, community organizing, ancestral remembrance, and the ways women historically gathered to exchange knowledge and sustain life together.

Her work in birth spaces further expanded this understanding. Through supporting women and families during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, she came to recognize birth as more than a medical event. Birth can also be understood as an experience of creative, embodied, emotional, familial, and spiritual power.

Her professional birth and postpartum education—including Birth & Postpartum Doula Training, childbirth education, lactation education, and maternal-infant assessment—continues to inform her approach to supporting women and families.

Building Sacred Spaces for Women

From this intersection of education, birth work, spirituality, community, and ancestral remembrance emerged a larger vision for sacred community.

A Red Circle Corporation was born from a desire to create spaces where Black women can remember, reconnect, heal, study, gather, and return to themselves. It has grown into a spiritual and community-centered ecosystem rooted in feminine wisdom, ancestral remembrance, creativity, birth work, education, mentorship, and holistic healing traditions.

Through this work, Osunyamiloju seeks to honor Black women as creators, nurturers, healers, visionaries, wisdom keepers, and spiritual leaders.

Education as a Sacred Practice

For Osunyamiloju, education is not limited to a classroom or a degree. It is a lifelong practice of study, observation, questioning, listening, remembering, and passing knowledge forward.

Her academic education in psychology and business management established a foundation for understanding people, relationships, organizations, and community. Her professional education in birth work, lactation, newborn care, postpartum support, sleep, and childbirth education has deepened her understanding of the maternal and family experience.

Her continuing spiritual and cultural study explores the knowledge systems, traditions, rituals, and wisdom practices through which women have historically understood the body, birth, nature, community, spirituality, and creation.

Together, these educational pathways inform a practice that bridges academic learning, professional training, lived experience, spiritual study, ancestral wisdom, and embodied knowledge.

Private Practice

Beyond her community offerings, Osunyamiloju provides private spiritual and wellness services through her personal practice. These offerings include spiritually prepared herbal baths, womb wellness sessions, rites of passage ceremonies, meditation and breathwork practices, mentorship, psychic readings, and nature-based experiences centered around plant wisdom, foraging, and reconnection to the Earth.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that wellness can be both educational and experiential—that women can learn about themselves while also developing practices that help them reconnect with their bodies, intuition, spirituality, environment, lineage, and purpose.

A Return to Sacred Memory

At the heart of Osunyamiloju’s life’s work is an invitation for Black women to remember something sacred.

Across many ancient societies, women were revered as priestesses, healers, diviners, mothers, wisdom keepers, and spiritual leaders. They were understood as deeply connected to creation, intuition, the cycles of life, and sacred knowledge.

Osunyamiloju’s work seeks to create space for that remembrance—not as a rejection of education, but as an expansion of what education can mean.

To study.
To question.
To remember.
To heal.
To gather.
To reclaim.
To create.
To return home to the wisdom our ancestors carried.
